I love his voice and the quirky situations in which he finds himself. I've read both books aloud to rapt attention. They have produced many laughs and led to great discussions about author's craft (especially voice and character development), feeling invisible, death, people's motives, and human relationships.

Great Book!!
Was for my 6th grader daughter and she likes .
It's not as good as the first book, but it is still very insightful and funny! This book has quite a bit of dark humor, but so did the first book. I didn't doubt that this was gong to be a good book after reading The Schwa was Here and other Neal Shusterman books. I was surprised how I laughed in some grim situations and still felt the tension and sadness. This book does have everything. Drama, comedy,and action.
My gosh, if I come across another amazing book by accident, I'm going to laugh, in this book I highlighted more than any other of my books. If I actually highlighted everything I wanted to, I would have highlighted the whole book. Now before I reveal the rest of the book, I'm going to end this here. Bye.

Good companion to "The Schwa was Here." I cannot get enough of that book and insist to every 14 and 15 year old boy that they need to read them.
