May be the longest book in the series, but also the best! Full of action, character development, and great POV. An amazing effort, but start with the first one, Chektor...
Of all the fantasy books that I have read that writes about Dragons, this is the best. Rowley has created a story that is at once full of humor, and at the same time serious. He has created a story that explored the bond that exists between a dragon and an orphan boy throughout all their adventures.
This was the first book by Rowley that I read, and it was totally awesome! I've read this book too many times to conveniently say, and that's unnatural, even for me. I've now read all but one of Rowley's books, which is the one that comes after this one. The title is "Battledragon", and I haven't been able to find it anywhere. This book is worth the money. Trust me.
I read this book in a few weeks. it wasnt as good as i thought it was going to be. If you read it you'll understand what i mean. but i like how it shows that relkin grew up a little bit. and how he looks at the yopunger boys and how he remembered what it was like in his first battle. but i have to say i hope the next book is better
I have to admit, Dragons of War is not that good of a book. I love the Bazil Broketail series but this book is just boring. I was asleep through almost the whole thing. One of the only parts that i liked was with the Purple Green, the wild dragon that bazil was in love with, and Bazil because they r the people u can understand! The other characters use big words that are hard ta understand. I recommend Bazil Broketail and Dragons of Argonath.
was in readable condition as advertised no frills but that is as expected when getting fair (as was stated prior to purchase) overall very happy to have the book .I would buy from this vendor again.
This was the first book I got in the Bazil Broketail series - and I was enthralled. Of course, I had to skip the first chapter to get past the boring story of Thrembode in Padmasa, but after reading this book, I was firmly hooked. I own every book in this series and have worn 2 sets of them out and I'm working on my third now. I could say that I've read each book approximately 100 times each - yes, they are THAT good. The entire series is excellent, and if you like fantasy stories or novels that make you laugh and cry - these are the ones for you.
